Granite stone

Granite is a light-colored igneous rock with grains large enough to be visible with the unaided eye. It forms from the slow crystallization of magma below Earth’s surface. This stone is composed mainly of quartz and feldspar with minor amounts of mica, amphiboles, and other minerals. This mineral composition usually gives granite a red, pink, gray, or white color with dark mineral grains visible throughout the rock.

Granite stones are mostly used in paving and facade. So the diameter or the thickness of the stone is very important. Because the paving should have high compressive strength. The rock face must be of a good thickness to scop the rock. Stone dimensions also have a decisive role in determining the price of stone. The larger the size of the stone, the higher the price.
